Tomato Rice

Tomato rice/Thakali rice is prepared with basmati rice,tomato's and masala. Tomato Rice is a perfect one pot supper or lunch box recipe, which can likewise be served for breakfast and supper.


1 Container Basmati Rice 

2 medium hacked onion / ఉల్లిపాయలు

2 teaspoon sambhar powder 

1 Bunch Of Coriander /కొత్తిమిర

2 tablespoon refined oil 

1/2 teaspoon garlic glue /వెల్లుల్లి

4 extensive slashed tomato 

3 medium green stew 

1/4 teaspoon powdered turmeric 

3 squeezes salt 

1/2 teaspoon ginger glue 

2 squeezes red stew powder 

For Seasoning 

1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds /ఆవాలు

7 curry takes off 

1 squeeze asafoetida 

2 washed and dried red stew


  1. Wash and dry the basmati rice and splash for around 20 minutes. Take a profound skillet, put it on medium fire and pour water in it. Heat it to the point of boiling, and after that include the doused rice. Cover the dish with a top and cook on medium fire till the rice turns out to be delicate, however not soft.
