Ingredients

  • Pudina or Mint leaves
  • Oil - 3tbsp
  • Green chilies
  • Red chilies
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Cumin seeds
  • Coriander leaves
  • Tomatoes - 2
  • Tamarind
  • Turmeric powder
  • salt as required
  • Black gram
  • Bengal gram
  • Curry leaves

Directions

  • Take a kadai add oil and warm it.
  • Into it, add cumin seeds, add green chilies, saute for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add garlic cloves and saute.
  • Add dried red chillies and saute for few moments.
  • Add mint leaves, coriander leaves, blend well until every one of the leaves converts into a smash.
  • Cook them for 4-5 minutes.
  • Add chopped tomatoes, blend well and cook until tomatoes turn delicate.
  • Add turmeric powder, blend and saute well for few moments.
  • Cook the chutney blend for few moments.
  • Turn off the flame.
  • Cool it down.
  • In a mixing container, add the chutney blend.
  • Add salt according to taste.
  • Mix the chutney combination into the glue.
  • In a sauce dish, add oil and warm it.
  • Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and let them splitter.
  • Add urad dal, chana dal and saute well.
  • Add dried red chillies by breaking them, mix well.
  • Add curry leaves, let them pop.
  • Add the mixed chutney into the tadka, blend well.
  • Serve it
  • with rice/idli/dosa.
