Carrot Halwa is a traditional Indian sweet or dessert made with fresh red carrots, milk, and sugar.
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg Carrots
- 1/2 litre Full Fat Milk
- 60 g Ghee
- 1 tsp Freshly ground cardamom powder
- 120 g Sugar
- Almond and pistachio slivers (For garnishing)
PROCESS
step.1
Wash the carrot and peel them.

Step. 2
Cut carrots into small pieces.

Step. 3
Take a pan and add 1 tpsp ghee

Step.4
Add small pieced carrots to the pan.

Step.5
Saute these carrots up to 2 minutes in the medium flame then close the pan with cooker cap until 2 vessels comes out in the low flame.

After boiling of carrots open the cooker cap and mash the carrot without any lumps.

Take another bowl,pour 1/2 liter full fat milk into that bowl then boil it continuously in medium flame until milk become half to its original content and mix it continuously

After that add 100 grams of sugar to the mashed carrot, mix it well until perfect consistency.

After that add fully boiled milk into the mixture, mix it well up to 5 minutes.

Step. 10
Finally add 1/2 tps cardamon powder and Dry fruits to the mixture,mix it well.
